Clifton and Cassidy Novak currently reside in the Chicago-land area. They recently celebrated 7 years of marriage and feel blessed to come along and help other couples in the exciting (sometimes rough) road of marriage. They encourage others to uphold their vows "It's worth fighting for!"
CASSIDY GLO-
Cassidy's life took an unexpected turn 9 years ago when she was in a life threatening accident- having to undergo extensive brain surgery. Cassidy was given little hope of ever being normal again- and walked out of the hospital 7 days later. Medically Unexplainable? She believes in Miracles- and would love to motivate others world wide!
Cassidy has walked a long, yet beneficail healing journey overcoming an eating disorder, and sexual abuse during her childhood. She is passionate in sharing wih others the steps she took for recovery, and how to find true value and worth in Christ. Cassidy claims "Forgiveness is a key in healing and walking a victorious life, but it's not just forgiving others, but also ourslves." Cassidy shares "There is hope no matter what you are facing, you can overcome your addictions, anxiety, depression, and anything else that torments you."
"I’m willing and ready to do whatever it takes to get my voice out there! I believe our world is desperate for a positive role model- and I gladly step up the plate to take on the challenge. My desire is that you can feel the passion in my voice and writings to let you know-This is what I was born to do!"
Cassidy has had the priviledge of speaking at many events over the past 9 years such as MOPS, graduation events, business conferecnes, workshops,showers, women's retreats, youth groups, and churches. She has spoken to all ages.
Cassidy has also been a worship leader, and is an avid song writer.
"My mom claims i have been singing before I could even talk. And I’m now proud to say I’ve gone onto perform at many events across the state of Florida , New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, Nashville, and Chicago." This Includes holding titles of many performances/talent competitions, singing the national anthem at several conventions, being a contestant for Miss Florida - holding the title for Miss Silver Springs for the Miss America Pageant. She has written and recorded with producers in Florida, Chicago, and California.
CLIFTON-
A graduate of the
University of Louisville in 2003 with
a degree in
Business Administration, Clifton is looking forward to the opportunity to be in full time ministry, giving God all the glory and praising him for all He has done. No stranger to the public eye after spending 18 years as a left handed pitcher and living in 4 states during that time, he is anxiously awaiting getting back on the road and "allowing ourselves to be used by God to win lives for the Kingdom!" "As a baseball player, I tended to take a back seat when it came to sharing my faith, but now I know that the time has come for us to boldly take a stand and let people know that we serve a mighty God who loves us enough to send His Son to die for us!"
An avid guitar player, he has been performing for over 13 years and has enjoyed writing music with Cassidy Glo for the past 3. They have recorded such songs as "Show me your Plan" and "Follow" among others. One of his greatest passions is accoustic worship which "allows you to just be real with God, taking off your mask and allowing yourself to feel His presence." His favorite guitar is a Taylor 410ce which is well traveled.
Much like Cassidy, Clifton enjoys speaking to todays youth, realizing that they are the future leaders and desperately need positive role models! He is passionate to share the dangers of getting entrapt in sexual sin/addiction. He wants to speak the truth to men of all ages on how to walk a Godly life in the light.
TRIPLETS:
Never a dull moment- After four years of marriage, Clif & Cassidy were shocked to find out they were expecting naturally conceived identical triplet girls! What a story they have to share on the journey of pregnancy, NICU, and adjusting to a new life with multiples. "It's a team effort daily" Cassidy says "And we are thankful that the Lord is equipping us to raise these beautiful girls". Clif states "Our lives are blessed but crazy busy to say the least!" "We're surviving one day at a time." They both feel raising these girls is an honor the Lord has entrusted them with.
